Jorge Eduardo Costillo, or simply known as 'El Coss' was a former cartel leader in the gulf of Mexico. That is, until his property was raided and he was apprehended by police forces. When the police raided his house, they came across two very peculiar watches.
These watches, according to the company that sold them, are made out of fragments of the original Titanic and sold for about $10,000 each. The company, who remained anonymous, were part of a collection of jewelry made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the ship sinking.
A few things have been learned about El Coss - as well as the rest of the world. First, El Coss further proves that drug lords have some nice bling. Second, some company went to the bottom of the ocean to chisel off pieces of the Titanic to sell them...do you need a permit for that?
