In 2010, T.I. was driving in Atlanta when he heard on the radio about a man who was standing outside of a 22-story building’s window ready to jump. He said as soon as he heard the radio broadcast, there was something in his heart that told him he had to go help.
T.I. ignored his responsibilities for the day and immediately drove to the site. Authorities had been trying to coax the man down for some time, and when T.I. showed up he immediately began his attempt to help.
Police wouldn’t let him approach the man in case it scared him, so he videotaped a message and sent it to him, which, after watching, caused the man to change his mind and come off of the building!
T.I. said he could sympathize with the man because he had often fallen on hard times and had been worn out by life. Regardless of the reason why, T.I. can be thanked for saving a man’s life!
