In the Middle Ages, you were not supposed to have sex during a lunar eclipse.
Eclipses have always astounded and/or scared us. They always seem to pop up out of nowhere to disturb the highly organized schedule of the cosmos. Europeans in the Middle Ages believed wholeheartedly that one should not get their freak on during a lunar eclipse. They claimed that “moon children” would be born with demons inside of them.
Think this is a completely outdated belief? Well, turns out that it has evolved into a modern superstition, which has it that a pregnant woman shouldn’t touch her belly during a lunar eclipse. If she does, then her baby will be born with a birthmark that’s size matches the force of the touch. Eclipses: making people crazy since forever.
