Yes, even your apples are probably “made in China.” China has had an illustrious history with the apple. Apples have been grown for thousands of years in various parts of Asia and Europe and were brought to North America by European colonists. The original wild ancestors of the apple were found growing wild in the mountains of Xinjiang, China.
