It's called the Merry Cemetery and it's located in the village of Sapanta, Romania. It's famous because all the tombstones are colorful and painted with scenes from the buried person's life. Some people even have poems about them engraved in their tombstones.
It's an unusual cemetery because most other European cultures consider death to be something solemn. It's thought that this cemetery has a connection to the Dacian culture, which believes in the immortality of the soul and the belief that death is a joyful moment because it leads to a better life.
