Ilona Staller was born in Hungary in 1951, but she moved to Italy in 1973 after she got married. There, she met a pornographer and started a radio show called "Voulez-vouz coucher avec moi?," a French phrase that translates into "Do you Want to Go to Bed with Me?" She adopted the name Cicciolina (Cuddles) which became her porn name. After the radio show, she started making porn films in the late 70s.
She started her political career in 1979, but didn't get elected until 1987, where she went to the Italian parliament. While in office, she once offered to have sex with Saddam Hussein in return for peace in the middle east. She would offer Hussein again in 2002, and to Osama Bin Laden in 2006.
Interestingly, she did not stop making porn appearances while she was in office. She made a film in 1987, and appeared in Playboy magazines while she was in Parliament. She was also known for giving speeches with one breast exposed.
