If you've ever had a home econ class, you have probably had assignments like taking care of an egg or a doll to show you what it takes to raise a child. However, if you went to Cornell in 1952, and took their Home Econ class, you would have been handed a real-life baby!

The source tells the story of Denny Domecon, he was an orphan who had about 8 moms at once because he was the subject of a group project. At the time, hundreds of orphan babies were LOANED by orphanages to schools so they could teach people how to be parents. Read more about this at the source.
