There's an anti-smartphone that only makes and receives calls!
It's labeled as appropriate for the elderly, young people and technophobes, John's Phone is a telephone sold by a Netherlands company that only allows you to make and receive calls. The phone does come with an address book function: a paper pad and pen built into the back of the device.
The telephone only has the 0 to 9 keypad, an asterisk button, a hash and the call and end buttons. It supports caller ID via a simple LCD screen on top and it can store 10 numbers in speed dial. Other than that, there's really not much to it.
The phone has created quite a stir and has even been included in the permanent collection of the new Museum of Ideas and Inventions in Barcelona.
