There are actually 5 'planets' like Pluto in our Solar System!
If you're one of those Pluto-rights advocates that says that Pluto should still be a planet, you'll be surprised to learn that there are actually 5 other bodies like it in our Solar System. Pluto's not even the biggest one!
The other bodies are called Eris, Haumea, Makemake and Ceres. Ceres was discovered in 1801, Makemake in 2005, Haumea and Eris in 2003. The biggest one of the bunch is Eris, it's diameter measures 1,445 miles (compared to 1,430 for Pluto). It orbits the Sun in 561.4 Earth years, which is more than double than what Pluto takes.
