A $5 painting bought from a thrift store was actually worth millions of dollars!

Who the #$&% Is Jackson Pollock? Is a documentary that follows the life of Teri Horten; a 73 year old truck driver from California who bought what she thought was “just a pretty painting” from a thrift store. She later found out that the pretty painting was actually the work of world-renowned American painter Jackson Pollok.

Initially, Horten and her friend thought that the painting would be good for target practice. Then, someone pointed out that it looked a lot like the work of Pollok and that they should get it checked out. Initially, art critics doubted its authenticity as it lacked any sort of signature, marking, or “soul of Pollock.”

But a finger print analysis confirmed that the painting was indeed a Pollok. Horton once got an offer for $9 million for the painting but turned it down. She isn’t about to sell it for any less than $50 million.
