Well, I suppose everyone wants to make a dramatic exit. James Randi is a Canadian-American stage magician and scientific skeptic. He began his career as a magician named The Amazing Randi. After retiring at the age of 60, he was able to devote his life to his true passion; investigating paranormal, occult, and supernatural claims- which he refers to as “woo-woo.”
Randi is currently suffering from intestinal cancer, and at the age of 81 had surgery to remove the tumor. The looming spectre of his own death lead him to consider how he would like to be mourned. Randi said that he would like to be cremated and have his ashes blown into the eyes of self-proclaimed psychic Uri Geller.
Through the years, Randi and many other skeptics have accused him of using simple conjuring tricks to simulate the effects of psychokensis and telepathy.
