Keanu Reeves, bas born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1964. His first name means “cool breeze over the mountains” in Hawaiian.
After a few stage gigs and a handful of made-for-TV movies, he scored a supporting role in the Rob Lowe hockey flick Youngblood, which was filmed in Canada. His first popular success was the role of totally rad dude “Ted Logan” in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
In 1994, he became a big-budget action star with the release of the movie Speed. He later filmed other great movies such as A walk in the Clouds, The Devil’s Advocate and The Matrix.
Despite being a big class actor, Keanu has always been aware of what people want, and people want other big stars co-starting with him, and hence, he deferred his salary for the Devil’s Advocate to ensure the budget could afford Al Pacino for his role in the movie.
He did it again for The Replacements to get Gene Hackman. Keanu is not only a great actor, he is a rad dude!
