Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway got into a fist-fight. After, they became friends!
Orson Welles met Ernest Hemingway during the making of a movie that Hemingway had written for Welles to narrate. As he was reading the text, Welles questioned some of what Hemingway had written. When Welles started making fun of him, the got into a fist fight!
The fight actually ended with both of them laughing about it. After, they became on- and off- again friends. They actually became really good friends and shared passion for bull fighting and humor. They only ever clashed whenever Welles made fun of Hemingway in public, although Welles said he took it well when he was in private.
