A recent study suggests that it is safer to sit in the back. They based this observation when several plane crashes were studied and it turns out that most of the survivors of these horrible accidents were sitting in the back at the time of the crash.
Those who sit in the front are the ones that are more likely to die first! First class doesn’t sound that fun anymore, huh? Passengers near the tail of a plane are about 40 percent more likely to survive a crash than those in the first few rows up front.
So next time you get to decide where would you like to seat during your next flight remember: Back row seat over window seat!
