Teddy Roosevelt rode horseback for 100 miles after his cavalrymen complained about having to ride 25 for training!

President Roosevelt was indeed a funny looking kind of president that at first sight would not look like a total threat or even a badass.
However, he was so hardcore, and to prove it he rode horseback for 100 miles, from sunrise to sunset, at 51 years old, after receiving so many complaints from army cavalrymen that had to ride 25 miles a day for training!
In fact, he was so badass that he even had a bear and a lion at the White house as pets! We all know he did a great job as a president, but I bet you didn’t know he was considered one of the toughest Americans back then.
