There's a species of pigeon unable to fly that is bred for rolling competitions!

They're called Parlor Rollers and they were developed over many years of selective breeding. They are known for their unique ability to perform somersaults on the ground.

Parlor rollers lose the capability of flight by the time they become adults. Parlor rollers are bred for competition in which the winners are decided based on the distance that the animal rolls on the ground. If this sounds confusing, check out the video below and you'll see exactly what we mean.
