UK police sent two ambulance crews and a police car to respond to a miniature train crash!
The 999 dispatch in Essex, UK received a call regarding a “military train accident.” They swiftly sent two ambulance crews and a police car to the “accident site.” They were about the bring the big guns, but bad weather did not permit the airlift.
When they arrived to the scene, they found out that there was a miniature train convention going on. Apparently, the call had been for three people hurt by a miniature train. The dispatcher had misheard. It should be noted however, that the dispatcher should not have been called for a miniature train accident. The entire situation was just one huge train wreck.
