There is a cruise ship called "The World" on which residents permanently live as it travels around the globe!
With the summer holidays coming to a close, you’ll probably understand and envy those who have paid to be on that lifelong vacation. The residents aboard The World come from 40 different countries. Some residents live on board throughout the year while other visit periodically.
The ship travels the globe-staying in most ports from 2-5 days and is operated by ResidenSea. It weighs 43,524 tons, is 664 feet long and 98 feet wide, and contains 12 decks, 250 crew members, and 165 resident suites. And there’s quite a few numbers in its price too. Suites can be rented from $20 000 a month and up, and bought from $600,000 to $13,500,000. However, there are only 4 suites left on the cruise for purchase, so you better hurry up!
