Clik here to view. Here’s the recap: Warren G. Harding was President of this fine nation from 1921 until 1923 serving as the 29th President of the U.S. of A. His V.P was Calvin Coolidge, he is not a super popularly known or remembered President, and he dropped dead out of nowhere while visiting California and Coolidge succeeded him. He did some good things while in office, but they are overshadowed by the scandals of his office administration.
He’s gotten some happy nods from historians for his conservative fiscal stance, though. Anyways, before he was President, he served as a Senator from 1915 until 1921. While holding his seat as Senator, he voted for Prohibition. It was pretty ironic, because he served White House guests with bootleg liquor when he became President. Harding broke a lot of the conventional rules, though. He let his dog beg guests for food at the dinner table in the White House. Harding would also give private tours to children that included the conservatories and kennels.
